Wat ik ga zeggen is wat ik bedoel, maar het zal waarschijnlijk niet kloppen met wat het echt is.
Wat hier meestal terecht komt van filmpjes, teksten en dergelijke, zie ik in deze context als object trouvé, of found art. Op zich zijn ze dat niet, want er is fucking veel werk en tijd in gegaan. Maar op deze site is het wel found art. Het zijn elementen die hier geplaatst worden, zoals in een gedichtenbundel advertenties als poezie geplaatst wordt.
Dus, als ik hier Kuitca's passioneel dinges daar zet, heeft dat weinig te maken met mij. Of ja, net wel. Maar nu ook wel weer niets.
Of als ik Radiohead's Videotape hier zet. Dan is dit gewoon zoals het is: mooi, misschien soms ook niet mooi. Intrigerend. Of banaal. Gewoon, zoals het is, of zoals de kijker het vindt. Zonder mijn oordeel. Hoewel, ik die het hier plaats zorg eigenlijk al voor een selectie.
